Ya, the last hand I think I would have check, just b/c you had the flush draw out there and top pair.
If you only had top pair I would have bet out like you did, but you could have maybe got more chips out of him by checking b/c then he wouldn’t be putting you on a J really on the turn.
But I don’t really think you can make a bad play there, only a better one.

not when you raise 4 times bb with p kijngs and one of them calls u with ace rag..and sikes an ace on 4th r 5th street. that always happens to me.

smart guy…….i think like you do, so true about value of hands out of position means nothing especially when out of position unless you have a made hand….too many players play poker like they see on tv these days
